Father Michael Moran joined
Bridgeport Rescue Mission in
October, 2007. He is an ordained
priest in the Southern Episcopal
Church, headquartered in
Nashville, TN.
Fr. Michael has a diverse
background previously working in
the secular business world as
CEO of M.A.P., SNET, SBC Global
markets, and as a business owner
of Pillar to Post Professional
Home Inspections. He has
combined his administrative
gifts with his ordained pastoral
gifts as Program Director of the
Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
His education includes an M.Div.
in Family Dynamics, Counseling
from Yale University, 1995 and
an MBA (1999) and Bachelor
Science in Business
Administration) from Sacred
Heart University. He is his
denomination’s Registrar with
responsibilities that include
providing all written
communications for the
denomination to its clergy, as
well as building and maintaining
the integrity of the Church’s
database and information
systems. Bi-vocational Ministry
includes volunteer teaching
opportunities, Pastoral
Counseling and Home Church
ministries.
Fr. Michael is married to Grace
and they live in Shelton, CT.
