“Pennies from
Heaven…”
 When
teacher Steve
Gorman
challenged his
Park City Magnet
School 5th grade
class to collect
pennies and
nickels to help
the Bridgeport
Rescue Mission,
he never
imagined that
the class would
fill THREE
5-gallon jugs!
When all was
said and done
the children
(and their very
supportive
parents)
collected a
total of over
$500. Pictured
here are members
of the class and
representatives
from the Rescue
Mission
accepting their
very generous
gift.
The Mission is
grateful for the
support of the
many, many
schools and
organizations
that sponsor
food drives and
other programs
that provide
support critical
needs here at
the Mission. If
