Fairfield Kiwanis Golf Tournament - May 7, 2012


What:

Tee up and tee off to help the homeless.  Join other golfers at Kiwanis Club of Fairfield’s Third Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Bridgeport Rescue Mission.  For more information contact John Hackett or Dirk Vanderblue


Third Annual Bridgeport Bluefish Game at Harbor Yard Ballpark to benefit Bridgeport Rescue Mission - May 19th, 2012


What:

BluefishEnjoy a great Bluefish game, hear Laura Christie, an eighth grader at Amity Middle School Bethany Campus, sing our national anthem and help her raise awareness and  funds to support the services and programs at Bridgeport Rescue Mission. Westport Farmers' Market - May 24th, 2012


What:

Westport Farmers’ Market  -  Support Bridgeport Rescue Mission by supporting Westport Farmers’ Market at the Imperial Avenue Commuter Lot at 50 Imperial Avenue, Westport  from 10AM – 2PM on May 24th. Chef Paul will be featuring his famous chili and our New Life women will be featuring necklaces that they have hand crafted.

Piano Concert by MaeRi Bae - April 3, 2011

What:

MaeRi shared her God given gifts and talents with the community to glorify God and help fight poverty from the inside out at a benefit concert at Church of Easton on April 3, 2011.

Hope (Help Our People Event) Big Band Concert and Food Drive – Sunday, April 10, 2011


What:

This fun all you can eat dinner buffet and live music by Art Dixson Big Band and other world-renowned entertainment benefited Bridgeport Rescue Mission and other area food pantries.  Attendees brought one big bag of non-perishable food to help feed the hungry at Bridgeport Rescue Mission.

 


Fairfield Kiwanis Golf Tournament - May 9, 2011

What:

Golfers came together, enjoyed a breezy spring day and played a round of golf to help the Homeless in coastal Fairfield County.  Proceeds went directly to the Mission and enabled Kiwanis to donate close to $9,000 to support the Mission’s programs.

Second Annual Bridgeport Bluefish Game at Harbor Yard Ballpark - June 18th, 2012


What:

Laura Christie, an eighth grader at Amity Middle School Bethany Campus organized a fundraiser to support BRM at a Bridgeport Bluefish game on June 18, 2011.  She invited her classmates, teachers and friends to hear her perform our national anthem and support the Mission.  Attendees brought food donations and $7 of every ticket sold was donated directly to Bridgeport Rescue Mission.
